Die-sinking EDM and wire-cut EDM

High-precision manufacturing to meet all customer requirements

For us, EDM means precision – in both die-sinking as well as wire-cut EDM. Where other manufacturing processes reach their limits, EDM can be the solution. Die-sinking EDM technology allows us to give the surfaces of your items a unique design, or achieve the highest precision in producing your desired geometric shape using wire-cut EDM. We have five die-sinking machines and two wire-cutting machines at our disposal. 

Electrical discharge machining

• Electrode design and programming
• Travel distances up to max. X=1,250, Y=2,350, Z=950mm are possible
• Complete electrodes weighing up to a maximum of 5tonnes and measuring up to a maximum of 1,200 x 600 mm can be produced with a filling height of 900 mm
• Machine configuration for sheets up to a maximum of 2,500mm x 1,500 mm
• Automated electrode manufacturing using Erowa clamping systems
• Electrode management using transponder technology
• State-of-the-art generator technology for die-sinking EDM
• 3D measurement of the electrodes using PC-DMIS software
• Pilot hole drilling

Wire cutting

• Travel distances up to max. X=750, Y=500, Z=450mm are possible
• Cutting height of 610 mm possible in a water bath
